ANVIL TERRAPIN (2017)

The ANVIL TERRAPIN, was a project that had excited me from the beginning due to its captivating 2D concepts and design style; still remains as the most enjoyable work I have done at CIG even after seven years. Total of two artists including myself worked on this project, where I was responsible for the exterior portion. The expression of mechanisms visible through thick armor plates were a delightful aspect in this project. I enjoyed designing the sturdy landing gear and ensuring the seamless movement of the small components inside the gear. I attempted to incorporate a ship's transformation to resemble a turtle retracting into its shell for safety. Due to various technical limitations, it couldn't be implemented, leaving me with somewhat disappointed.
